WordPress hosting
WordPress hosting from ₹99 a month
WordPress powers a large share of the web and runs on any ODHOST hosting plan. This page explains which plan suits which kind of WordPress site, and when a VPS makes more sense.
What WordPress needs from a host
PHP and MySQL
WordPress is written in PHP and stores content in a MySQL or MariaDB database. Every ODHOST plan provides both.
HTTPS
Logins and forms should always travel encrypted. A free SSL certificate is included on every shared plan.
Room for media
Images and uploads, not WordPress itself, use most of the space. Plans run from 10 GB to 200 GB of NVMe storage.
Backups
Plugin and theme updates occasionally break sites. Weekly server backups plus your own backup plugin give two ways back.

Why there is no separate "WordPress plan"
Many hosts sell "WordPress hosting" as a separate product, but underneath it is usually the same shared hosting with a different label. ODHOST keeps it simple: WordPress runs on the regular hosting plans, and you choose a plan by how many sites, mailboxes and gigabytes you need.
You can install WordPress yourself in about fifteen minutes by uploading it through the File Manager in your control panel and creating a database. Some control panels also include an application installer; check yours after your account is created, or follow our manual guide, which works everywhere.
Keeping a WordPress site fast on shared hosting
Most slow WordPress sites are slow because of heavy themes, too many plugins and uncompressed images, not because of the server. Start with a lightweight theme, install only the plugins you need, compress images before upload and use a caching plugin.
If your site still slows down when traffic rises, especially on logged in pages such as carts and dashboards that cannot be cached, it is time to look at a VPS with dedicated memory.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Short, straight answers. If yours is not here, ask us before you order.
Is WordPress included?
WordPress is free software that you install on your hosting. Every plan meets its requirements: PHP, a MySQL database and HTTPS support. See how to install WordPress.
Can I move my existing WordPress site to ODHOST?
Yes. Copy your files and database to the new account, test, then switch DNS. Our migration guide covers both plugin and manual methods. Ask support whether migration help is available for your plan.
Can I run WooCommerce on shared hosting?
A small store with a modest catalogue runs fine on Boost or Thrive. Larger or busier stores benefit from a VPS. See ecommerce hosting.
How many WordPress sites can I host?
One on Spark, three on Boost, five on Thrive, ten on Turbo and no set limit on Elite. Each WordPress site needs its own database.
