Refund Policy

The ODHOST 30-day money-back guarantee on new shared hosting and VPS plans, how cancelling works, and how refunds are paid back to you.

Last updated Version 1

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for services bought from ODHOST, a unit of Nishita Solutions. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

30-day money-back guarantee

If a new shared hosting plan or VPS is not right for you, ask for a refund within 30 days of paying for it and we refund the full amount you paid for that plan.

  • It covers your first shared hosting plan and your first VPS with ODHOST, on monthly or yearly billing.
  • The 30 days start on the day the first invoice for the plan is paid.
  • When we refund under the guarantee, the service is closed and its files, databases and email are removed. Download anything you want to keep before you ask.
  • It does not cover renewals, dedicated servers or plans made specially for you (custom offers), because these are prepared to order. If we cannot set one of them up, you get a full refund.

Cancelling a service

You can cancel any service from your account (Services, then Billing, then Cancel service):

  • At the end of the billing period (recommended). The service keeps working until the date shown, and you are not charged again.
  • Immediately. The service stops straight away. This cannot be undone once the service has been removed from the server.

Cancelling a service does not refund it by itself. To use the money-back guarantee, ask for a refund as described below.

Other refunds

  • Duplicate or mistaken payments. If you paid the same invoice twice, or paid more than the invoice amount, the extra is refunded in full.
  • Services we could not provide. If we cannot set up an order, or a service stops working because of a fault on our side that we cannot fix, we refund the unused part of the period.

When refunds are not given

  • Requests made more than 30 days after paying for a new plan.
  • Renewal payments, once the new period has started. You can turn off automatic renewal at any time from your account.
  • A further plan of a kind you have bought from us before.
  • Dedicated servers and custom offers, once they have been set up.
  • Unused time when a service is cancelled, apart from the cases above.
  • Services suspended or terminated for breaking our Acceptable Use Policy.

How to ask for a refund

Open a support ticket from your account under the Billing department, or use our contact page, and give the invoice number. Our billing team checks the request and replies by email. Refunds are made by our team, not automatically.

How refunds are paid

  • A refund goes back to the original payment method, or to your ODHOST account credit if you prefer. Account credit is used automatically against future invoices.
  • Online refunds are sent through our payment partner. Banks usually take 5 to 7 working days to show them.
  • Every refund comes with a credit note that adjusts the GST on the original invoice.
