This is not reseller hosting, and that is fine for most agencies

Reseller hosting gives each client a separate control panel and lets you bill them under your brand. ODHOST does not currently offer it. What Turbo and Elite give you is a single hosting account that you manage on your clients’ behalf.

For most small agencies that is simpler: clients rarely want to log in to a control panel, and you keep control of updates and backups. If a client needs their own access, create an FTP account limited to their folder.

Isolate client sites from each other

Give each site its own database and database user, use unique admin passwords, and keep plugins updated on every site. One neglected site on a shared account can affect the others, so build updates into your maintenance routine.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Short, straight answers. If yours is not here, ask us before you order.

Still have a question?

Send us a message and we reply by email, or call us.

Can my clients log in to manage their own site?

They can log in to their CMS, such as WordPress. Control panel access is account wide, so give clients FTP accounts limited to their folder rather than control panel logins.

Can I charge clients for hosting?

Many agencies include hosting in a monthly maintenance fee that also covers updates and support. How you price your services is up to you.

What happens when I pass ten sites on Turbo?

Move to Elite, which has no set limit on websites. Contact support to change plans.
