When to use this
Use this guide when you get an invoice email, want to renew before the due date, or need to check what you owe. All ODHOST billing happens in the ODHOST client area (the billing portal), the same place you ordered and open tickets.
ODHOST note: Plans renew monthly or yearly only. The yearly price is exactly 12 times the monthly price, and the listed price is the recurring price at current rates. Applicable taxes are shown at checkout. See pricing for current plan prices.
How renewals work
- Invoice: The billing system creates a renewal invoice some days before the service's due date and emails it to your billing contact. WHMCS, the system the client area runs on, does this 14 days ahead by default, but each host sets its own timing; the invoice shows the actual due date.
- Reminders: You may get reminder emails before and after the due date.
- Payment: Paying the invoice extends the service for one more billing cycle.
If you are deciding between cycles, monthly vs annual hosting explains the trade offs, and hosting renewal prices explained covers how renewals differ across the market.
Pay a single invoice
- Log in to the ODHOST client area.
- Open Billing > My Invoices. Unpaid invoices are marked Unpaid.
- Click the invoice to open it and check the service, period, amount and taxes.
- Choose a payment method shown on the invoice or at checkout.
- Click Pay Now and complete the payment.
- Wait for the status to change to Paid. You will usually also get a payment confirmation email.
Pay several invoices at once
If you have more than one unpaid invoice, the client area may offer mass payment:
- Open Billing > Mass Payment (shown only if it is enabled).
- Click Pay All, or select the invoices you want.
- Choose a payment method and click Make Payment.
Each original invoice is marked paid once the combined payment goes through.
What happens if an invoice is not paid
Hosting billing systems can automatically suspend a service a set number of days after the due date and terminate it (remove it from the server, including files, databases and email) after a longer period. The exact number of days, and any reactivation steps, depend on ODHOST's terms of service, so check them and do not leave invoices overdue.
To protect yourself:
- Pay before the due date, especially for yearly services where the invoice arrives only once a year.
- Download your own backup regularly, as explained in restoring a backup in cPanel.
- Contact support quickly if a service is suspended. Paying the overdue invoice usually starts reactivation, but ask if it does not come back.
Keep billing details up to date
- Open your account menu (your name at the top right) and choose Account Details or Your Profile.
- Check your name, company name, address and email. Invoices use these details, so keep them accurate for your records.
- Add a billing contact if someone else, such as your accountant, should receive invoices. Look for Contacts or User Management in the account menu.
- Save the changes.
An email address you no longer check is a common reason for unexpected suspensions. Use an address that several people can see, such as accounts@yourbusiness.in, and protect it as described in securing your hosting account.
How to confirm it worked
- The invoice shows Paid in Billing > My Invoices.
- Services > My Services shows the next due date moved forward by one cycle.
- A payment confirmation email or receipt is available for your records; download the invoice PDF from the invoice page.
If something goes wrong
If money left your account but the invoice still says Unpaid, do not pay again. Open a support ticket in the billing department with:
- The invoice number and amount
- Date and time of payment (IST) and the payment method used
- The transaction or reference number from your bank or payment app
- A screenshot of the payment confirmation with card or account numbers hidden
You can also call +91 9114422066 if a service has been suspended and you need it back urgently.
Frequently asked questions
Does ODHOST offer a discount for yearly billing?
No. Plans are billed monthly or yearly, and the yearly price is exactly 12 times the monthly price, so there is no discount and no multi year lock in.
Is GST included in the price?
Applicable taxes are shown at checkout and on the invoice before you pay.
Which payment methods can I use?
Choose from the payment methods shown at checkout in the client area. The options available can change, so check the invoice page when you pay.
Can I switch from monthly to yearly billing?
Open a billing ticket and ask; support can tell you how the change works for your service and when the new cycle starts.
What happens to my site if I pay late?
Services with overdue invoices can be suspended and, after longer non payment, terminated with data removed. Exact timings depend on ODHOST's terms, so pay before the due date and keep your own backups.
